GW Buissness Analyst

We are seeking a Guidewire Associate with 4–8 years of experience in the insurance domain, specifically in Personal Lines. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Guidewire applications and strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, ensuring seamless implementation and enhancement of insurance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, customize, and maintain Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) for Personal Lines insurance.
• Collaborate with underwriters, actuaries, business analysts, and IT teams to analyze and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop and implement Guidewire integration solutions with other enterprise systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Participate in end-to-end testing, including unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Support data migration, policy administration, claims processing, and billing operations through Guidewire solutions.
• Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and industry best practices in system configurations and implementations.
• Document system configurations, customizations, and user guidelines for knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4–8 years of experience in the insurance domain, specifically in Personal Lines.
• Guidewire Associate certification is mandatory.
• Strong experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter.
• Hands-on expertise with Gosu scripting, Java, and Web Services (SOAP/REST APIs).
• Good understanding of insurance products, policy lifecycle, claims processing, and billing systems.
• Experience in business requirement gathering, system analysis, and stakeholder management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an Agile development environment.
• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with Guidewire Cloud implementations.
• Familiarity with insurance regulatory compliance and reporting.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools for CI/CD in Guidewire applications.
• Experience with data migration, ETL, and reporting tools in the insurance sector.
