The Position
As Head of Advocacy and Partnerships, you will operationalise the advocacy strategy for Global Health Equity and drive a broad portfolio of partnerships incl. Novo Nordisk’s partnership with UNICEF, Humanitarian Organisations and AccessAccelerated, together with a high performing team of 8 colleagues. In doing so, you will work with and across the company value chain and in close collaboration with Global Public Affairs, Global Communication, Product Supply, and Novo Nordisk’s US and International Operations. Through an innovative approach to advocacy and partnerships, you will build strong external relations, building and maintaining important partnerships and contribute to position Novo Nordisk as a trusted partner to society. You will manage the collaboration and alignment with the World Diabetes Foundation and the Novo Nordisk Foundation on Health Equity related topics. You will represent Novo Nordisk externally and sometimes in challenging stakeholder environments.

You will be leading a team of 8 colleagues. Business travel to be expected at 20+ days per year. Relocation package included.
Qualifications
To succeed in this position, the ideal person will possess A relevant Master’s degree (e.g. economics, business administration, social sciences, engineering, or biological, medical or pharmaceutical science). Other key skills and experiences required are as follows:

As a highly skilled communicator, you will bring a demonstrated ability to influence, create buy-in and generate engagement across an organisation and with the highest levels of leadership within both internal and external organisations and networks. You will bring innovative approach to access and affordability, proposing novel approaches to resolve key challenges to the benefit of Novo Nordisk and society at large.
About the Department
Based in Bagsværd, Global Public Affairs & Sustainability (GPAS) is a global team of more than 135 people in four VP areas: Global Health Equity, Corporate Environmental Strategy, Global Public Affairs and Patient Relations and ESG Strategy & Intelligence. The Global Health Equity team is responsible for Novo Nordisk’s social responsibility strategy and the company’s efforts to positively contribute to improving heathy equity within cardiometabolic disease. The Global Health Equity team consists of a Diabetes Health Equity team, an Obesity Health Equity team, an Advocacy and Partnership team and a small executive office.
