Head of Cloud and Platform Engineering

Do you want to lead and inspire our talented team, which designs and delivers the foundation that powers innovation? Do you want to manage a Kubernetes platform to craft a high-level of developer experiences that enable our teams to build faster and smarter? Lead technology strategies forward and deliver transformative solutions
In the position as Head of Cloud and Platform Engineering, you will be key in making strategy for the area and ensuring how we enable platforms that elevate the developer experience.

More specifically, you will be:

Leading and optimizing the overall Cloud and Platform engineering strategy which is aligned it with the organization’s goals and objectives

An anchor of steering groups, and leading dialogues with other departments and stakeholders

Ensuring the platform adoption and feature implementation is cost effective and on-time

Cooperating closely with Architects and software development teams to convert our infrastructure and CI/CD processes to match scaling, security, and compliance requirements

Promoting a collaborative and innovative team culture, fostering growth and development for each team member

Ensuring adherence to internal security policies and regulatory compliance while deploying digital tools and platforms

Ensuring good and consistent service delivery from our vendor(s) in alignment with our strategy

Managing budgets for staff, infrastructure and tools across the group

Meet your future team
With direct reference to our Head of Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure and Platforms, you will lead a dedicated team of 7 colleagues. The team is highly specialized in tasks that contributes to Kamstrup’s digital transformation journey by utilizing the strengths of DevOps (using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, GitHub Enterprise, and other CNCF-related tools), CI/CD, micro-services approach and tooling like GitLab/GitOps, Terraform, Kubernetes, Data Platform.

In order to succeed, we imagine that you:

Have minimum 3 years of proven experience in IT leadership, particularly within software development or cloud and platform operations

Have knowledge about cloud native development and corresponding services as well as architecture design patterns

Have the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively with various departments

Are a motivating leader who is known for your excellent communication and problem-solving skills
