YOUR TEAM
The Head of Global Tax is a crucial member of the finance leadership team with full responsibility for the tax function. You will be a leader with deep expertise in tax regulations, a trusted partner to the business leaders, and accountable for addressing current and future tax business needs. You will be managing a team of 8 specialist within the field and will be a part of our Global Finance organisation. In our flat organisational structure, we collaborate closely with the business to ensure that our financial data is of the highest possible quality. We have a high level of enthusiasm in the team and an informal tone.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
As Head of Global Tax, you and your team are responsible for maintaining a high level of compliance across BESTSELLER in direct and indirect taxes, including transfer pricing. This role has a strong focus on international tax management, tax structuring, tax audit management while ensuring alignment across teams and enhancing collaboration with BESTSELLER’s various operational units across brands and markets. You will take a forward-thinking approach, implementing best practices to establish a market-leading tax department with robust, up-to-date processes.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Oversee all tax operations, processes, and compliance within BESTSELLER.

Collaborate with management and leadership across departments to align tax strategies with business objectives and provide practical, compliant solutions.

Define the tax department’s priorities while considering global interdependencies across our brands and markets.

Lead and support the team in managing discussions, negotiations, and compliance matters with tax authorities worldwide.

Ensure the tax team operates efficiently and in line with BESTSELLER’s values, principles, and strategic priorities.

Lead, develop, and mentor the Global Tax team to foster professional growth and high performance.

Qualifications:

Experience from a similar position is considered an advantage. Alternatively, you can come from a consulting background focusing on tax and are looking to take the next step in your career into a leadership role.

Relevant educational background within Tax or Finance - preferably a Master’s degree

Strong technical tax background

LOCATION: You will primarily be working out of our office in Aarhus with occasional days in Brande.
