The position
As the Head of P&O Communication, you will Lead and guide a team of communication professionals and serve as the Communication Partner to the Global Head of People & Organisation in Novo Nordisk, internally called “Executive Vice President of People & Organisation” and henceforth abbreviated to “EVP”. You will be responsible to: Oversee strategy and business communication within P&O and guide P&O on issues and opportunities to strengthen global communication, including but not limited to culture and leadership. Develop and coordinate P&O social media plans and content Collaborate with Global Communication and co-develop communication of company-wide relevance to employees or leaders Support handling of P&O specific media requests. Play and active role in the EVP Communication Partner community and ensure collaboration with functional communication teams across the business Maintain and enhance strong working relationships with communication teams and stakeholders across the company for communication on enterprise agendas Qualifications We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate the following qualifications: Proven experience in a senior communication role including relevant content development, tools and platforms Leadership skills including the ability to guide and develop a team Comprehensive understanding of global communication strategies, along with expertise and experience within managing internal and external communications Strong stakeholder management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Danish Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is considered a plus On a personal level, you are able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, while having strong interpersonal skills, enabling you to build and maintain networks effectively. About the department You will head up the P&O Communication function at Novo Nordisk, part of the P&O Executive Office & Communication department. This team is committed to ensuring effective communication, including targeted leadership channels with global reach.
