We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Director of Sales to lead our sales team and drive our growth strategy. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a proven track record in sales leadership within the software industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate a team. This is a critical leadership role that will play a key part in shaping our product roadmap and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.

We are looking for a talented Director of Sales to join our team at EG Industrials, part of a dynamic group committed to simplifying our customers world. In this role, you will drive the growth of our sales efforts, shape our sales strategy, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. 

Lead with Strategy, Inspire Teams, and Drive Sales Excellence in the Software Industry 

As our Head of Sales within EG Industrials, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing our sales strategy, driving growth through innovative approaches, and building strong, scalable relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met while achieving company objectives. 

Your key Responsibilities will include: 

  • Developing and implementing sales and go-to-market strategies to meet and achieve growth targets.
  • Establishing and maintaining a best-in-class sales Rhythm-of-Business framework to drive momentum and performance with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and driving sales acceleration from maturing lead pipeline, lead nurturing and deal execution prospecting to closing deals.
  • Defining and expanding sales territories while supporting the sales representatives in closing deals.
  • Driving market expansion, by introducing and scaling products in new markets.
  • Creating and implementing strategies to enable and encourage cross-selling opportunities within the overall Industrials and EG product portfolio.
  • Coaching and mentoring sales teams to successfully close deals and meet performance goals in assigned territories.
  • Leading initiatives for team growth, performance excellence, and achievement of Bookings targets. Data means a lot to us!
  • Collaborating with other departments and Group functions to ensure alignment and support for sales.
  • Staying updated on industry trends and market conditions to adapt sales strategies accordingly and provide valuable input to product innovation.
  • Optimizing and improving our sales process to improve performance. 

Required competencies to be successful in this role: 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales leadership within the software industry.
  • Strong understanding of software sales processes and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
