About the Role

As an HR Generalist, you will be at the center of our people operations, driving key HR initiatives that enhance the employee experience and support business growth. Based in Taastrup, just 26mins away from Copenhagen central station, you will be the go-to person for all HR-related matters locally, while also contributing to broader HR processes across the organization.

Reporting to the Head of Talent Management, you will collaborate closely with colleagues in Operations and Transformation, people managers, and employees to ensure a thriving, compliant, and dynamic workplace. From recruitment coordination and onboarding to employee relations, workplace well-being, and HR system implementation and optimization, you will play a critical role in shaping our company culture and ensuring that our people have the support they need to do their best work.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruitment & Onboarding:

Coordinate the recruitment processes in Denmark, from publishing jobs to arranging interviews and onboarding new hires ensuring great candidate experience.

Employee Relations:

Provide expert advice to employees on Danish labor laws and work environment legislation, supporting their day-do-day needs.

Work Environment & Wellbeing:

Partner with Head of Talent Management and Operations and Transformations Manager to drive work environment, wellbeing and social initiatives.

HR Operations & Administration:

  • Assist with HR system implementation, including personnel data transfer and process flow set up.
  • Apply for work and residence permits for new team members and assist with applications for Special Tax Schemes for R&D projects.
  • Oversee and optimize internal HR documentation and its’ storage spaces ensuring seamless employee experience.
  • Own and maintain employee handbooks, internal policies and their storage spaces ensuring compliance with Danish labor law.
  • Analyze and evaluate HR data, processes and procedures and recommend and implement improvements.
  • Prepare employment contracts, addendums and other agreements and maintain personnel data on HRIS.
  • Assist with occasional office management tasks i.e. order office equipment for new hires, employee gifts, arrange social events.


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven experience in HR operations and recruitment coordination.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Practical experience with Danish labor law, GDPR and work environment legislation.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Experienced working in a fast-paced international start-up or scale-up.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • The ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • High emotional intelligence when it comes to working with different cultures.
  • Service minded and positive attitude.
  • Experience with Danish working visa and/or Tax Scheme for Researchers applications (nice to have).

  2. 45-60min Interview and case presentation with VP of Operations and Head of Talent Management
  3. 30min Meet and Greet with our CEO and Operations Officer
