Job Description

In 2024, CBRE and Turner & Townsend combined their project management business. This has already been completed in some geographies, with Sweden, Denmark and Norway to follow in April 2025.

Turner and Townsend in Scandinavia are now expanding their HR team and are seeking a professional HR Manager to own, drive and convert local HR operations in Denmark. In this stand-alone, generalist and hands-on role, you will report into the regional HR Lead, drive regional HR excellence within a diverse and growing entity. Place of work is Copenhagen. Part-time is possible.

Key tasks

  • Full scope of HR operations, encompassing the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to performance management and talent development
  • Convert the full scope of HR aspects of the workforce integration and change management for the combined business in Denmark
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure full HR compliance
  • Ensure compliance of all policies and processes with local and EU employment laws and local regulations
  • Ensure that our benefits are competitive and state of the art
  • Own and drive the monthly payroll process; prepare monthly information for the external payroll provider
  • Act as a key advisor on HR, labour law and compliance matters
  • Support regional Talent Acquisition team with local recruiting tasks
  • Prepare the monthly payroll information for the external payroll consultant
  • Work closely with the Europe HR team across region to share own best practices and to benefit from these of other countries

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management/business management or similar HR-related education
  • >3 years of experience in an HR role in Denmark within an international, complex and dynamic work environment
  • Preferred, but not required is HR experience in Norway
  • Excellent knowledge of Danish regulations, bargaining agreements, unions and employment law fundamentals
  • Mergers & Acquisition experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all organizational levels
  • Ability to understand business needs and developing simple and effective solutions
  • Proactive and hands-on attitude
  • Comfortable being the sole person responsible for HR in Denmark, working as part of the European HR function
  • Fluent in Danish and English, Norwegian (preferred but not mandatory), written and spoken
  • Structured work approach, strong team player
  • Strong prioritisation skills
  • Flexibility and willingness to business travel upon request
  • Valid work and residence permit for Denmark is mandatory
