Who is FLC?

Femern Link Contractors, FLC, is the joint venture responsible for the design and construction of the immersed tunnel, tunnel portals and ramps. Our joint venture consists of nine international construction companies with individual experience in large infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

As an HS&WE translating and training officer, your primary responsibility will be to support our Polish workers and staff, enabling them to perform their duties safely and effectively. You will be a critical link in the communication chain, translating essential training materials and facilitating continuous improvement in safety practices. You will be performing the following tasks:

• Translating various trainings from English and/or Danish to Polish, covering topics such as man lift, safety representatives, fall protection.
• Coordinating with trainers training suppliers.
• Assisting in the translation of educational materials, including slides and tests, from English to Polish and/or Danish.
• Translating toolbox talk supports across English, Polish, and Danish.
• Helping HS&WE coordinators communicate effectively with workers during events, meetings, and inspections.
• Participating in training to familiarize yourself with course content.
• Assisting in the implementation of the safety culture program and facilitating training sessions.
• Joining and planning various activities and events on site.
• Occasionally conducting HS&WE inductions in English/Polish, including emergency instructions.

Qualifications:

• Preferably 3-5 years of experience within the field.
• Flexibility to quickly adapt to different situations.
• Excellent oral and written English and Polish skills. Danish is an advantage.
• A valid driver’s license and personal transportation.
• Experience in the construction industry is advantageous but not essential.

Conditions of employment:

FLC considers transparent management structures, short decision-making channels, and a team-oriented environment to be extremely important. Our staff is expected to set themselves targets, achieve them independently, and take responsibility for their actions – irrespective of their position in the company. 

The Danish Salaried Employees Act (Funktionærloven) applies, pension, health insurance and lunch arrangement are available. The position is part-time on 25 hours per week with the possibility to increase depending on needs.

The workplace is in Rødbyhavn.
