Join us in shaping a sustainable future To advance our goal of delivering world-class energy solutions, we are seeking a Hydrogen/PtX Technical Director to join our expert team. Reporting to Head of Engineering, Lars Mogensen, you will supervise essential initiatives in the hydrogen and PtX sectors, pushing forward the development and implementation of innovative technologies. We are a dynamic team, partnering with clients on some of the most innovative and transformative energy projects. We are proud to have contributed to landmark initiatives such as FEED on 1GW Hydrogen Plant Esbjerg for Morgen Energy and De-carbonation of Maersk fleet; Green Methanol production, showcasing our expertise and commitment to sustainability. Your key responsibilities will include:

Managing the technical design and operation of hydrogen and PtX projects from concept to delivery.

Collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to advance hydrogen and PtX innovations.

Assisting Project Managers & Directors in making informed technical decisions. Define best practices (ie. professional standards, delivery model, knowledge sharing).

Act as a subject matter expert both internally and externally, promoting COWI by bridging the gap between technical understanding and market needs, while building meaningful relationships with clients, industry stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.

A degree in Process Engineering and experience in hydrogen, Power-to-X, or related energy technologies.

Experience within the consulting industry and in providing technical knowledge in hydrogen production, storage, and PtX applications.

Experience with managing complex technical projects.

Proficient communication and stakeholder management abilities at all levels.

A holistic mindset and the ability to operate across multiple disciplines.
