Are you an experienced Chef with deep expertise in Indian cuisine, including varieties of Indian regional delicacies? Do you take pride in cooking every single dish in consistently high quality?
Tandoori Twist, a newly established Indian restaurant and take-away in Copenhagen, is looking for a kitchen chef with expertise in Indian cuisine. Please note this is a hands-on cooking position for chefs having expertise in Indian regional delicacies.
The work is full time, 37hrs weekly divided by 6 days, holiday pay and a small but growing workplace.
Responsibilities:
· Prepare and cook high-quality authentic full course meals and individual dishes and foods.
· Responsibilities include studying recipes, setting up menus.
· Estimate food requirements and costs.
· Maintain & manage inventory and records of food and supplies. You need to be technically savvy to operate our systems.
· Control food wastage without compromising on food quality.
· Ensure hygiene and cleanliness at all the times.
· Provide assistance and guidance all kitchen staff and helpers.
· During non-busy times, you may need to have a customer-facing role (e.g. take food orders directly and serve customers).

Requirements
Qualifications and Language proficiency
· Ability to communicate in conversational English
· Diploma or certification in Hotel or Restaurant Management is advantageous
Experience
· At least 7-8 years of hands-on experience in Indian cooking is required. Please indicate in application which regional Indian delicacies you have expertise in.
· Can work independently with minimum supervision and can produce high quality (flavor, taste, texture) food on consistent basis
· Ability to ensure quality of food and determine size of food proportions
