Informatica Senior Developer/Architect 6 Months Contract

We are seeking a Certified and skilled and experienced Informatica Senior Developer/Architect to join our team of developers. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data integration, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts. This individual will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing Informatica solutions while providing technical leadership to the development team.

Responsibilities:

• Solution Design: Architect and design Informatica solutions to meet business requirements, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Development: Lead and participate in the development of ETL processes, mappings, and workflows using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Data Modeling: Collaborate with data modelers and database administrators to design and optimize data models for efficient ETL processes.
• Performance Tuning: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks within Informatica mappings and workflows.
• Integration: Integrate Informatica solutions with various data sources, including databases, flat files, and APIs.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce best practices for data quality, data profiling, and data validation within Informatica.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and process documentation.
• Team Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, and other IT teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Extensive experience working with Informatica PowerCenter and other Informatica tools.
• Proven expertise in ETL development, data integration, and data warehouse concepts.
• Strong SQL and relational database skills (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
• Familiarity with data modeling principles and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment and provide technical leadership.

Referred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-based Informatica solutions, such as Informatica Cloud.
• Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and their integration with Informatica.
