We are looking for a candidate with a combination of skills across Project Management, Laboratory Analytics, IT Networking, Data management, Data processing / reporting and Automation. You will be home based, leading most of the project activities remotely with occasional travel to customer sites as required.
As an Informatics Enterprise Solution (IES) Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering OpenLab portfolio related projects. These projects mainly take place at our large Life Science and Applied Market customers across EMEA, who are implementing our Networked Lab Informatics Solutions at Scale. The new position will be part of the Enterprise Services Customer Success Team (ESCS) reporting to the EMEA Lab Informatics Service Delivery manager.
This role involves collaborating across divisions and functions to achieve best-in-class project outcomes, continuous improvements, and ensuring our customers experience "Trusted Answers" at every opportunity. The ideal candidate will be a team player, customer-focused, diligent, and capable of thriving in complex projects.
Key responsibilities:
Manage and execute the implementation of informatics solutions at our customers, ensuring they stay within scope, schedule, and financial expectations. Work closely with local delivery teams across EMEA to ensure best-in-class service delivery. Regularly report on project status to project team and management. Maintain project records to ensure all information is kept and secured. Use technical expertise to scope and calculate required services to deliver a Lab Informatics solutions, supporting the sales organization. Develop and deliver added value services to our customers: Workflow consulting, Product Training, System Maintenance, Workflow Automation, Scripting. Identify and solve sophisticated problems by applying a new point of view using existing solutions. Collaborate with other Agilent organizations to realize and implement business opportunities. Contribute to key task forces and the development of new enterprise informatics service products. Make informed decisions based on business analysis, experience, and judgment. Ensure the success of the informatics portfolio in EMEA in collaboration with fellow Project Managers and Field Service Engineers. Accountabilities:
Build and maintain excellent customer relationships to ensure retention and account growth. Meet assigned project performance metrics and goals. Develop and implement custom delivery solutions. Support the success of Enterprise Services and new product initiatives. Prepare customer-facing documents. Meet turnaround time (TAT) and quality standards for assigned work. Provide expertise and knowledge to support EMEA resource initiatives. Give feedback from customers to other Agilent organizations for future development.
Qualifications
BSc / MSc degree or equivalent combination of education and employment in the requested expertise areas. Strong domain knowledge in laboratory informatics products and related analytics, including chromatography and mass spec data systems, data and Content Management systems and LIMS. Knowledge of the Agilent OpenLab Portfolio is a plus. Strong technical skills in IT, including hardware, databases (MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL), operating systems, networking, virtualization and cloud. Experience in computer programming languages such as C#, Visual Basic, Python, and Java is a plus 5+ Years of experience in a customer-facing role in the Pharma/Chem industry with strong technical competence. Knowledge of the analytical industry and instrumentation. Understanding GxP compliance in Pharma, knowledge of Computer Systems Validation (CSV) a bonus. Solid project management experience and skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in local language and English and comfortable with addressing multidisciplinary internal/external audiences. Ability to build a solutions-oriented approach and customer focus to drive towards business goals. Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects concurrently. Team player mentality with the ability to collaborate and negotiate within cross-functional teams. Additional Details
