We are looking for an International Project Manager to support our European sales teams in the preparation of commercial bids for highly complex regulating valves projects manufactured in our various plants worldwide.
As a project manager you will be in charge of the execution of these projects and handles all activities (from award to invoicing) in order to deliver them according to customer requirements and contractual delivery dates, while improving their profitability.
Our future International Project Manager can be located in any French or Italian Emerson locations (preferably in France). We look forward to seeing your application!
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Support and guide sales and pre-project teams during the preparation of technical and commercial bids by coordinating customer specification review and planning activities. Participate in alignment and contract review meetings, influencing internal strategy and sharing feedback Negotiate technical and documentary requisitions with customers, in collaboration with sales teams Ensure that all aspects of Emerson's commitments are documented when awarding the contract and at order entry. Define and commit to project deadlines for goods and documentation. Take responsibility for the project once it has been won, and act as the customer's main contact for Flow Controls Europe, contributing to customer satisfaction by providing them with the necessary and accurate information. Manage all stages of the project, ensuring that deadlines and established milestones are met and coordinate any modifications that emerge as the project progresses Improve project profitability by preparing a margin improvement plan, seizing all opportunities for customer modification and identifying actions to limit costs. You demonstrate leadership and good priority management. You know how to communicate, collaborate, negotiate and convince. You are tenacious and results-oriented. You can handle ambiguity, adapt and solve problems independently. For This Role, You Will Need:
5-year master degree or equivalent experience 8 to 10 years of experience in Project Management in industrial environment. English essential for team coordination, customer negotiations and reporting Mastery of negotiation and customer relations techniques Project management skills Ability to analyse customer needs International cross-functional management skills Ability to evolve in a matrix organisation Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
