Who are we?
DRC is a non-profit organization that works worldwide to help and protect refugees, internally displaced and other conflict-affected persons. DRC is looking for an intern who will get the opportunity to work with a broad range of sustainable supply chain initiatives, e.g., by sourcing environmentally friendly relief items, writing stories to publish in the monthly newsletter, mapping fleet activities.
About the internship
The intern will be based in DRC’s FRISC-Supply Chain sustainable team and have a close cooperation with our colleagues in the Supply Chain in Headquarters, the Regions and the Countries.
Hence the intern will be involved in DRC engagement in sustainable procurement, logistics, fixed assets, fleet management and circular economy projects. The intern will support various aspects of sustainability, knowledge management and development of strategies and approaches to relevant thematic areas.
This is an exciting opportunity to obtain an in-depth understanding of the functioning of DRC and its work in the area of sustainable supply chain.

About you
The intern should be able to work both individually and together with other colleagues. All employees and interns in DRC should master DRC's core competencies: Communicating, Taking the lead, Collaborating, Striving for excellence and Demonstrating integrity.

It is a requirement that you are enrolled in a university in order to be considered for the internship.
We offer
Contract length: 4-6 months subject to study requirements and further dialogue.
Workplace: DRC Headquarters located Borgergade 10, Copenhagen.
Start date: Ideally end of January/beginning of February 2025. We can be flexible on the start Working hours: Approximately 32 hours per week, subject to study requirements and further dialogue. We offer flexibility when you have study obligations next to the internship.

Please note that if you do not have the right to work in Denmark (through nationality or existing work visa),
