We are seeking an experienced and driven Investment Manager to join our team. You will be a key member of North Ventures investment team, working closely with our partners to manage the entire investment process and support the growth of our portfolio companies.You will be involved in every step, from analysis and executing transactions to supporting founders build and scale their companies. Whether it’s marketing/sales, product development, go-to-market strategies, hiring, or fundraising, your expertise will be key in guiding our early-stage companies.
The key responsibilities as an Investment Manager at North Ventures will include:
Manage the full investment process, including sourcing deals, evaluating potential investments, meeting with founders, conducting due diligence, and assisting in executing transactions.
Support portfolio companies by attending board meetings and advising management teams, for example by assisting with recruiting, business development, fundraising and m&a activities.
Form and foster strong relationships with founders, investors, mentors, service providers, and other ecosystem partners in order to develop sourcing relationships and build a support network for our founders.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Strong analytical and strategic skills combined with empathy and the ability to understand and address the challenges founders and early stage companies face.
Deep understanding of technology-companies, their business models, and emerging trends.
High level of maturity, instinct, and intuition, paired with entrepreneurial spirit and a genuine passion for venture.
Humility and a hands-on approach - no task is too small when supporting founders in their journey.
Ability to build strong, trust-based relationships with founders, management teams and stakeholders, working closely with them to navigate challenges and capitalize on opportunities.
A strong work ethic, high level of confidence, strong drive, and unwavering integrity.
Exceptional attention to detail, using insights to inform critical, strategic decision-making.
Intellectual curiosity, constantly seeking to learn and integrate new perspectives to drive informed decisions.
We are looking for candidates who has:
Min. 5 years of experience in top-tier consulting, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or with a venture-backed or industry-leading technology company.
A degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Danish and English.
A strong professional network
Venture Capital or PE investing experience is a plus
Experience as founder is a plus
Can start no later than March 1, 2025.
