Novo Holdings is seeking an investment professional to join our Private Equity and Venture Capital ("PE & VC") investment team as part of Capital Investments in Copenhagen. Strong expertise in direct investments is highly valued, as we seize the opportunity to co-invest alongside leading global buyout funds. This role offers an opportunity to work within a leading investment organization and contribute to a growing portfolio across a range of strategies.
About Capital Investments
Capital Investments (“CI”) oversees investments outside the life sciences sector, including listed equities, credits & bonds, private equity and real assets. With a team of 20 investment professionals, CI plays a pivotal role in managing approximately 50% of Novo Holdings’ investable assets and is poised for significant growth in the years to come.
The Role
This position focuses on the development and execution of Novo Holdings’ PE & VC strategy. The portfolio is currently valued at approximately DKK 8.5 billion and is set for significant expansion. You will be involved in investments across Venture, Growth and Buyout strategies, including fund investments and an increasing focus on co-investments.
Your main responsibility will be to lead the sourcing and execution of co-investment opportunities, primarily with our buyout managers and occasionally with our growth managers. Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting and assisting with fund investments. Our investment focus is centered on opportunities in Western Europe and North America, with some exposure to other regions through global mandates. You will collaborate with top-tier managers and partners in a role that emphasizes both professional and personal development.
