This position can be based in Copenhagen, Denmark, or Bangalore, India, with up to 10% travel required outside of Denmark for business-related activities.

 

The Position

As an IO Analytics & Data Science Solution Delivery Manager, you will lead the delivery of cutting-edge data science and analytics solutions within International Operations. Your role will be critical in translating business needs into scalable AI and analytics solutions, optimizing production solutions, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of data science and analytics solutions supporting commercial operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into actionable data strategies.
  • Ensure alignment of analytics solutions with business objectives and commercial strategies.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of data science projects, from conception to execution.
  • Drive the adoption of modern data engineering and AI methodologies.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
  • Ensure compliance with global regulatory standards and risk management best practices.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and facilitate clear, impactful communication across levels.

 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science & analytics, proven experience in solution delivery, and excellent people management skills.

 

We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate the following qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in data science, computer science, machine learning, economics, statistics, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience, with at least 5+ years in data science and analytics leadership roles.
  • Proven expertise in solution delivery for commercial business domains and data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience designing scalable AI & analytics solutions and managing technical teams.
  • Strong knowledge of life sciences regulatory requirements (e.g., GxP, EU AI Act, 21 CFR Part 11).
  • Hands-on experience with data engineering, data integration, and cloud-based analytics platforms.

As part of the broader Global Data & AI within DD&IT (Digital, Data and IT), the IO Data Platform team plays a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making across International Operations. We are responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data platforms that support business intelligence, analytics, and AI-driven insights. Working at the intersection of technology, business, and compliance, we ensure that data is accessible, reliable, and strategically leveraged to drive operational excellence.
