Digital Collaboration & Workplace aims to deliver seamless employee experiences by minimizing technological disruptions to all Vestas employees. Digital Solutions & Development > Digital Solutions > Product Area Lead

We are looking for a Business Consultant who can enable us improve the user experience and adoption of our IT services and tools within the product portfolio. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining engaging content on our communication and documentation channels, which showcases the benefits and features of our IT solutions. You will also collaborate with other teams to collect feedback, identify user needs, and provide training and support.

Responsibilities

To be effective in this role, you need to have advanced communication and writing skills, as well as a full understanding of IT concepts and functionalities. You should be able to translate technical information into simple and clear language that appeals to our end-users and assists them achieve their goals. You should also be enthusiastic about empowering and enabling end-users to use IT effectively and efficiently.

  • Improve End-user awareness, capabilities and maturity of tools and services by assisting employees, departments, and business units in strengthening their productivity and collaborative abilities
  • Drive adoption and user experience towards end-users and customers across the business organization
  • Usage and impact analysis: Track and measure the usage and impact of services and applications across the portfolio to define areas for future improvements and additional efforts
  • Plan, promote and deliver training sessions on various levels for productivity and collaboration tools - both tool specific and theme-based sessions 
  • Build, implement and conduct consultancy offerings available for self-service booking by business individuals, departments, or units, covering specific tools and themes like personal productivity, efficient group collaboration, high quality business meetings, prompt engineering etc. 
  • Write Knowledge Base articles and drive our Productivity Portal site by writing news post and tool guidance, video presentations etc.
  • Schedule and plan Change Management efforts when implementing new tools or services, including target audience analysis, stakeholder management, communication efforts, use case scenarios, qualitative feedback loops, usage metrics, reinforcement initiatives etc. 

  • Qualifications 
    You need to have qualifications which makes you able to honor your responsibilities and do your tasks.
    The following list is indicative, rather than absolute, of the qualifications that we are looking for: 

  • You hold a relevant educational background on Bachelor or Master level within IT, Informatics, communication or alike
  • Interest in the Modern Work field and how technology can affect work culture, collaboration, productivity, and mobility
  • Experience in "translating" complex and technical concepts, practices, and policies into impactful, simple to understand communication and training
  • Proven skillset in developing inspiring content being blog posts, articles, video production, training materials etc. 

  • Competencies

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written and on camera.
  • Knowledge of and experience with various productivity and collaboration tools, such as Microsoft Office , Adobe Creative Apps etc.
  • Ability to design and deliver engaging and effective training sessions for different audiences and levels of proficiency
  • Customer-oriented mindset and high interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively and proactively, as well as collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the organization
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on user needs and feedback
  • Project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
  • Awareness of and adherence to security and compliance standards and best practices
