The position
In this forward-thinking role, you will play a pivotal role in leading and optimizing our IT operations Team, while ensuring top-tier performance and regulatory compliance. You will be instrumental in building a competent and motivated team, driving continuous improvement, and effectively managing resources. You will:
• Build and coach a team with the right competencies, setting clear roles, ambitious goals, and effective work planning.
• Oversee IT systems, ensuring compliance, validation, security, and optimal infrastructure management.
• Drive performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a strong quality mindset within the team.
• Implement effective performance management, recruit talent, and continuously improve team processes using cLEAN® principles.
• Contribute to budgeting, provide backup for other managers, and ensure seamless department operations through effective collaboration.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with:
• Ideally a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, IT, Pharmacy or equivalent professional/technical experience.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience, preferably in the Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical Industry. IT experience will be beneficial.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical production processes.
• Experience building a team, motivating them and ensuring that your team members have the right competencies.
• A strong quality and result-oriented mindset with an ability to create an empowering and engaging work environment.
Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering an effective organization, optimizing resources, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. On a personal level, you need to be responsible, ambitious, reliable and with a realistic approach to achieving results. You possess excellent communication skills, a strong quality mindset, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Your commitment to continuous improvement and your flexibility to build and motivate a competent team are essential traits and will help you succeed in this role.
About the department
You will be joining one of the IT operations teams in our Tech Support & IT department, which is part of the CMC Oral Product Development and consists of 7 teams of close to 85 employees. We are responsible for identifying, designing, building, and implementing solutions that assist our Sandbox testing facility and the clinical trial production in performing their processes more efficiently and reliably. The team works closely with other departments and functions within OPDev, as well as external partners and vendors. The workplace is in Måløv and at the beginning you will work fully on-site with an option for 4 days on-site per week and one day from home in the future.
