IT Security Specialist – for some of the most critical digital infrastructure in Denmark

Can you safeguard our critical infrastructure against incoming threats?
In Digital Solutions, the subsection of ATP responsible for IT, data and digitalisation, we play a crucial role in digitalising Danish society. We develop and test innovative solutions along with guiding ATP’s technological strategy, setting new benchmarks for digitalisation within the public sector. 

We are currently looking for an IT Security Specialist to join us in Security & Identity Access Management (S&IAM), where our job is to act as the organisation’s first line of defence.

Through the reliable operation of our systems, we protect our critical IT infrastructure against incoming threats, responding quickly and minimising damages in case of a potential security breach. 

As an IT Security Specialist, you will

• conduct security risk assessments and develop key contingency plans, including the Crisis Management Plan, Business Continuity Plan and the Disaster Recovery Plan
• educate colleagues on IT security best practices, conducting regular exercises to raise awareness of security risks and how to handle them
• simulate security scenarios to test and evaluate our IT contingency plans
• continuously improve and develop our IT contingency plans and risk management framework to address emerging threats.

Is your knowledge of the latest tendencies in contingency planning up to date?
We are looking for someone with a relevant educational background and practical experience in IT Security. You manage to stay calm under pressure, and you excel at educating the organisation and co-workers on matters of crisis management and IT security. 

You are curious, stay updated on the newest trends in contingency planning and manage to communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Finally, we expect you to be responsible and able to combine your talents and experiences to ensure progress and the implementation of our IT contingency processes.

Security & Identity Access Management (S&IAM) is part of the Operations unit in Digital Solutions. Here, we are responsible for providing a solid foundation for all digital development across the organisation. We drive change through technology, translating complex information into practical insights for colleagues and end-users.
