Role
As an IT Support Specialist, you will be at the core of our IT operations, making sure our employees have the hardware, software, and technical assistance they need to succeed. You’ll also be instrumental in driving the setup, maintenance, and optimization of IT systems, particularly SharePoint. This role is dynamic and evolving as our organization and department continue to grow. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing hands-on, day-to-day IT support to colleagues, resolving technical issues promptly and efficiently.
• Procuring, setting up, and maintaining IT equipment for employees, ensuring new hires are ready to hit the ground running.
• Administering and optimizing SharePoint, helping colleagues adopt its features for better collaboration and document management.
• Managing user accounts and access through Azure AD, while ensuring smooth onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Supporting IT security initiatives, including implementing Single Sign-On and other security protocols.
• Adapting to new challenges and responsibilities as our IT landscape evolves in step with organizational needs.
  

Professional Skills

We’re looking for someone who thrives on problem-solving and enjoys working hands-on with technology and people alike. Ideally, you’ll bring:

• Proven experience in resolving IT issues and providing excellent support to users at all levels of technical proficiency.
  
• In-depth knowledge of SharePoint setup, optimization, and user adoption.
  
• Experience in procuring, installing, and maintaining IT hardware, including PCs, laptops, and peripheral devices.
  
• Familiarity with Azure AD for managing user accounts and processes.
  
• Versatility in IT tools, particularly advanced user expertise in Microsoft 365.
  
• A relevant IT education (preferred but not essential).

• Strong communicator, able to simplify technical concepts for non-technical colleagues.
• Flexible and adaptable to change, with a proactive attitude toward learning new systems and processes.
