About El Plato:
El Plato, is a modern canteen buisness focusing in healthy, delicious, and sustainable food. We are expanding and will soon be serving daily lunches to companies in the heart of Aalborg. Our goal is to create food experiences that inspire.
Responsibilities:
As Souchef at El Plato , you will have overall responsibility for the daily operations of the canteen. Your main tasks will include:
- Leading the kitchen, including scheduling, staff development, and motivation.
- Ensuring high food quality and continuous menu development
- Managing purchasing and inventory with focus in sustainability and budget compliance
- Ensuring compliance with hygiene and food safety regulations (Smiley)
- Handling customer interactions and following up on feedback to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
We are looking for someone with:
- A skilled chef who can think outside the box
- Industry experience is a requirement, but leadership experience/education is not
- A structured approach to planning and operations
- Strong communication and teamworkskills
- An interest in new culinary trends
