80/20 split of time to lead your team and be hands-on with your team
Your new home turf will be our core system Plexus, which is used to administer pensions and insurance. We know that pension and insurance, many sound a bit dull. If you are equipped with a true computer science leadership mind, it is actually exactly the opposite.
We develop solutions that manage large amounts of money used by millions of people for something that is crucial to their lives. Among other things, we must handle lots of data as well as think about, stability, robustness, cyber security and automation into everything we do and deliver as a service.
You will lead the team that works with the innermost core of the engine of Plexus. In this way, your focus will be on developing the platform and frameworks that are used by the rest of the house, e.g., application management, monitoring, logging, API, batch jobs, event processing, performance, scalability, and not least pipelines.
You will lead a team of 16 engineers expected to grow over the coming years. The team is located in India, the Netherland and Copenhagen. The position is in Copenhagen. Team collaboration is essential, as no person on the planet can solve these tasks alone. The exciting complexity also means, that you, as leader, are expected to dive into the context of Plexus.
Being agile is essential to us and together with the team you create a plan on how to deliver everything from bug fixes to new features to our customers. You are key in defining our technical and architecture strategy and runway. This position is a great opportunity to influence and lead the team to stay consistent and deliver high quality software on time.
It goes without saying, that you, as a leader must motivate your team by engaging and providing feedback and reflecting on performance to instil a continuous growth mentality. Not surprisingly, you also have a minimum of administrative tasks.

You will be part of an agile leadership team in India, the Netherlands and Denmark. You are supported by excellent product owners, architects and scrum masters.
