Are you ready to take the lead in driving new business opportunities and fostering client relationships? Do you have a proven track record in sales, business development, or account management in the aftersales/service business within waste incineration,  power plant industry or related industries?

Your Role

As an Account Development Manager for the Swedish Market in the Business Unit Systems and Service Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our reach and promoting KVI’s extensive portfolio of spare parts, maintenance & overhaul services, as well as upgrade & retrofit projects. Reporting directly to the Director, New Accounts, you’ll collaborate closely with the regional account teams and management to ensure successful client acquisition and long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hunt for new clients and reconnect with past ones, identifying business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute mid-term market strategies and yearly tactical plans.
  • Conduct client visits, participate in conferences, and manage tender submissions.
  • Create and present client-specific bids, following up until contract conclusion.
  • Support account managers in long-term client relationship building and execution.
  • Promote KVI’s solutions by developing marketing campaigns and sales presentations.
  • Monitor project pipelines, align resources, and prioritize sales activities effectively.

Your Qualifications

  • Education: Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or similar.
  • Experience: 6+ years in sales, business development, or account management in the WtE (Waste-to-Energy) or power plant sectors, preferably in an international environment.
  • Proven skills in budgeting, forecasting, and estimating service activities.
  • Strong understanding of procurement, risk management, and local regulations.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English (other languages are a plus).
