Junior Analyst to join our Legal team in Copenhagen

The Job 

As a Student Assistant in the Legal team, you will undertake challenging and varying tasks in relation to carry out our deliveries to fulfil the legal key strategic initiatives and goals, and to support the day-to-day operations of the organisation. 

As a Student Assistant, you will support the legal team on various tasks, including: 

• Support the legal team and the rest of the organisation on transactions, asset management as well as various internal matters. 
• Negotiation and drafting of certain transactional and non-transactional agreements and documents (e.g., non-disclosure agreements, consultancy agreements, certain supplier agreements, powers of attorney etc.).
• Assistance with corporate housekeeping with respect to the growing number of Novo Holdings’ companies. 
• Legal research. 
• PowerPoint presentations. 

The Legal team consists of nine lawyers divided between the offices in Copenhagen, Boston, San Francisco, and Singapore. You will enjoy the opportunity to be part of a dedicated, international, ambitious, and connected team that is driven by values, respect and appreciation for one another. 

The workload will be approximately 15-20 hours a week (at the Novo Holdings office in Copenhagen) with flexibility in relation to your studies. 

Personal & Professional Qualifications 

We are looking for a candidate who: 

• Is on the 1st year of a master’s degree within in law (Cand.jur.) or business administration and commercial law (Cand.Merc.jur.).  
• Has strong academic results.
• Has a good understanding of general contract law.  
• A good understanding of corporate law, securities law and/or M&A is a plus but not a requirement.
• Has fluent communication skills in English – both written and verbal. 
• Has excellent analytical skills with the right combination of overview and attention to details.
• Has the ability to work structured and independently – a highly motivated self-starter. 
• Is a team player, who wants to be a part of an international environment.
