What’s the role?
The Legal Operations Specialist is a new, part-time role for a student worker and reports directly to the VP Strategy and Planning.
The primary responsibility of the Legal Operations Specialist is with our Contract Lifecycle Management: contract creation and redline negotiations/adjustments specific to Avallone’s commercial deals, and this includes a key role working closely with our data processing agreements. This role also includes some operational and administrative activities critical to the business.
Over time, the role may expand and evolve to include broader, legal department activities and initiatives.
Again, this is a part-time role - ideal for a student studying law or business - with on-site working days. Only applicants located in Copenhagen, Denmark will be considered.

What you will be doing
Creating contracts and amendments for customers
Redlines: First line of review, guide internal assessments, implement and negotiate
Ensuring swift collection of electronic signatures
Communication of finalized contract details to relevant departments after signing
Management of relevant databases/files with contract information
Create and manage other legal documentation including but not limited to NDAs, partner / vendor agreements, etc.
Continue to develop and improve legal workflows, department processes and collaboration between legal, sales, finance and other departments
Support various legal operations projects and initiatives
Create and issue invoices to customers; follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment
Be a functional link between the commercial activities as noted in our contracts / amendments and our finance department
Support with updates of Sales databases with contractual / invoicing information
Assist with trade / supplier compliance needs and other general operational / business activities
What you bring
Currently studying law at Copenhagen University or HA(jur) or cand.merc.(jur.) at CBS
Experience or education with corporate contract law - specific to commercial software agreements
Experience or education within data protection / GDPR
Thorough understanding of legal operations and the interactions with sales and other teams
Demonstrated strong drafting skills (contracts, policies, disclosures) and verbal / written communication skills for both legal and non-legal audiences
An analytical, problem-solving approach to negotiations
Urgent drive to “get things done” and help “close the deal”
Works independently and collaboratively - knowing when to seek advice
High standards of integrity and confidentiality
Curiosity and eagerness to learn and grow in the role
