Junior Process Engineer

with focus on process optimization and digitalization

FLC is looking for a Junior Process Engineer to join our continuous improvement efforts and building the framework for optimized and digital processes. The Junior Process Engineer will be responsible for improving our production cycles by analyzing data and optimizing processes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Lean principles, a high motivation to work on multiple cross-sectional topics and first experiences in internships.

Femern Link Contractors, FLC, is the joint venture responsible for the design and construction of the immersed tunnel, tunnel portals and ramps. Our joint venture consists of nine international construction companies with individual experience in large infrastructure projects.

Together, we are committed to working together to deliver a state-of-the-art immersed tunnel, portals and ramps, delivered on time and safely, in a sustainable and ethical manner.

• Working on strategic improvement projects such as the implementation of AI tools for progress analysis
• Developing KPI dashboards in PowerBI, working on the interface improvements between software solutions
• Assist in monitoring process performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective measures, while learning how to drive accountability and measurable results
• Working together with other departments on education solutions for the improvement of employee qualification
• Increase the industrial mindset through the whole organization via workshops, Lean tools, visualizations (videos, posters, etc.)
• Standardization of processes together with operative colleagues

• High motivation to analyze and improve from an industrial perspective
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, business management or a related field
• Fluent in English - speaking and writing
• Analytical thinking with motivation of working with data
• Knowledge in data, KPI and tools e.g. PowerBI/Excel
• Willingness to learn and teamwork are key to developing and implementing solutions within interdisciplinary improvement teams
