The role: Junior Developer

We are looking for a junior software developer who is ambitious and ready to take on a high-responsibility role in a venture-funded startup.

The ideal candidate is able to work the full stack of applications at All Gravy, but especially experienced in React js / React Native. We have chosen to have a full-fledged TypeScript-based tech stack in All Gravy which means our current developer team seamlessly switches between development tasks.

We expect the person taking on the position to be able to take on full responsibility for projects end-to-end.

The job and responsibilities

• Working on the front-end development of our React/React Native applications
• Working on the APIs that serve our applications Node js (GraphQL).
• Code reviews, architecture, continuously help improving our team & processes

All Gravy is undergoing high growth; hence the job and responsibilities will develop over time, and there will be plenty of opportunities for you to learn and grow.

Who are you?

You have great energy, a good sense of humour & have a disciplined problem solver mindset. You should enjoy working in the dynamic startup environment, like to initiate new projects - but also get them over the line.

We look for employees who like being part of a team, are real team players, and have a mindset of learning & growing.

You have probably studied computer science or similar or you might have a great skill set in software development. Additionally, it's a big plus if you have previous experience from a fast-paced company, but it’s not required.

We expect you to:

• Speak and write English fluently
• Have min. 1 year of experience
• Thrive in a very fast-paced environment.
• Be passionate, organized and self-driven.
• Be in a timezone within +- hours of CET (fully remote work allowed)
• Have a good sense of humour - be willing to contribute to this being a fun place to work
• Be excited about building a big company from a small starting point, and want to grow personally on the way there

The ideal candidate has experience in:

• React Native
• ReactJS
• GraphQL
• GIT

An advantage if you have experience in:

• Agile development
  
• NodeJS
  
• NestJS
  
• MongoDB
