På Fiskerivej 12 i træskibshavnen i Aarhus ligger Restaurant Anker. Mellem lystbåde, kuttere og bølgeskvulp. Anker er en restaurant, som ikke har i sinde at tage os selv alt for højtideligt. Her finder du hverken strittende lillefingre eller tjenere med næsen i sky, men et dedikeret personaleteam, der kredser om den gode madoplevelse. Med adresse i første parket til vandet, har vi mulighed for at hente fiskene hos havnens lokale fiskehandlere, som netop har hevet dem op fra dybet.

Om stillingen
Som køkkenchef hos Restaurant Anker vil du få ansvaret for den daglige drift af køkkenet. Du vil stå i spidsen for et engageret team af kokke og køkkenmedarbejdere, hvor du både sikrer høj kvalitet i madlavningen og effektivitet i køkkenet. Du vil have en central rolle i at udvikle og forny vores menu, samtidig med at du holder fast i vores høje standarder.

Dine arbejdsopgaver inkluderer:

• Planlægning og styring af køkkenets daglige drift
• Udvikling af menuer og retter i samarbejde med teamet
• Sikring af høj kvalitet og præsentation af alle retter
• Overholdelse af hygiejne- og sikkerhedsstandarder
• Ansvar for varebestilling, lagerstyring og økonomisk kontrol af køkkenets udgifter
• Træning, ledelse og udvikling af køkkenpersonalet

Vi søger en kandidat med følgende kvalifikationer:

• Erfaring som køkkenchef eller kok med ønsket om at blive leder
• Solid faglig baggrund inden for kokkefaget, med en passion for gastronomi
• Evne til at lede og motivere et team
• Kreativitet og lyst til at eksperimentere med nye retter og koncepter
• Stærke organisatoriske evner og en skarp sans for detaljer
• God økonomisk forståelse og erfaring med at styre et køkkenbudget
• Gode kommunikationsevner og en positiv tilgang til både kolleger og gæster

Located at Fiskerivej 12 in the historic wooden ship harbor of Aarhus, Restaurant Anker sits between sailboats, fishing boats, and the gentle sound of waves. Anker is a restaurant that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Here, you won’t find pretentious finger-wagging or waiters with their noses in the air, but rather a dedicated staff team that focuses on creating a great dining experience. With our prime waterfront location, we source our fish from local harbor fishmongers, fresh from the depths of the sea.

About the Position
As the Head Chef at Restaurant Anker, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the kitchen. You will lead a committed team of chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring both high-quality food preparation and efficiency in the kitchen. You will play a central role in developing and refreshing our menu while maintaining our high standards.

Your responsibilities include:

• Planning and managing the daily operations of the kitchen.
• Developing menus and dishes in collaboration with the team.
• Ensuring the high quality and presentation of all dishes.
• Adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
• Overseeing procurement, inventory management, and the financial control of kitchen expenses.
• Training, leading, and developing the kitchen staff.

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

• Experience as a head chef or a chef with the desire to take on a leadership role.
• A solid professional background in the culinary arts, with a passion for gastronomy.
• The ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Creativity and a desire to experiment with new dishes and concepts.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good financial understanding and experience in managing a kitchen budget.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive approach to both colleagues and guests.
