KPMG Acor Tax is looking for an Azure Cloud Engineer for our Tax Technology Team in Hellerup or Aarhus

We are seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to join our cloud enablement team in the Tax Technology department. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and DevOps pipelines to ensure high availability, security, and scalability of our applications. Welcome to the Tax Technology team
As part of the Tax Technology team, you will join highly skilled professionals who collaborate daily with internal stakeholders in our tax service lines and business support on ideating, developing, and implementing technical solutions that optimise everyday tax processes in KPMG Acor Tax. The team consists of multiple profiles with different backgrounds and competencies, ranging from UX and data specialists to back-end developers, product owners, project managers, and AI leads. We leverage low-code tools, pro-code software development, advanced data analytics, and AI to challenge conventional methods and redefine traditional services, paving the way for the future of tax innovation.
 

Your Key Responsibilities

• Azure Infrastructure Design and Management: Implementation and management of complex Azure cloud infrastructure solutions, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and identity services.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Define and manage infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or similar tools.
• Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory standards.
• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Monitoring & Incident Management: Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics while responding to incidents and performing root cause analysis.
• Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure smooth cloud and DevOps integration while documenting architectures, configurations, and processes.
   

Required Skills and Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Azure cloud services, DevOps.
• Azure Expertise: Proven experience managing Azure cloud services.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Strong proficiency in Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or similar tools.
• DevOps & CI/CD: Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and DevOps tools.
• Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation tasks.
• Git & Version Control: Proficiency in Git, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code management best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications: Azure certifications (e.g. Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Administrator, Azure Developer).
• Hybrid Cloud & Multi-Cloud: Experience working in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Agile & DevOps Culture: Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
