KPMG Acor Tax is looking for a Student Assistant to join our Compliance Management and Transformation team in Hellerup or Aarhus

The Compliance Management & Transformation team
You will become a part of our data-driven Compliance Management & Transformation team, where we support clients in the rapidly changing world of finance, compliance, and tax. We bring business and strategic insights by applying innovative data management and analytics solutions to their challenges, and we use our data transformation skills to help clients optimise and automate their financial processes.

Your profile
You are motivated to drive high-value insights into the business by utilising the Power Platform, Python, and SQL – tools that offer vast opportunities for innovation, whether through low-code solutions or traditional coding.

In that sense, we imagine that you:

• Have a basic understanding of technology and digital tools, including feel comfortable with learning new software and understanding basic concepts of automation and data management
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills for handling data
• Demonstrate good communication and collaboration skills in a professional environment
• Are proactive and eager to learn, taking on challenges with curiosity and adaptability
• Are fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Have experience with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and coding (preferred but not required).

You are in the final part of your bachelor’s or enrolled in a master’s in fields like Business Process Optimisation, Business Analytics, Digital Management, Computer Science, Data Science, IT, or related fields.

We expect you to work up to 15 hours per week, spread over 2-3 days, at our office in Hellerup or Aarhus.

Key responsibilities
Your tasks will vary and be assigned based on your interests and skills. However, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Developing low-code or traditional coding solutions that transform business requirements into actionable applications using Power Platform, SQL, Python, and Alteryx
• Assisting in identifying and implementing methods to optimise internal processes and enhance our client-facing service lines through innovative coding
• Exploring new opportunities within the Power Platform to enhance business operations and drive efficiency
• Assisting with stakeholder interactions to gather requirements, provide updates, support maintenance, and ensure the successful deployment and continuous improvement of solutions.
