KPMG Acor Tax is looking for a Student Assistant to join our Compliance Management and Transformation team in Hellerup or Aarhus

The Compliance Management & Transformation team
You will become a part of our data-driven Compliance Management & Transformation team, where we support our clients in a rapidly changing world of finance, compliance, and tax. We bring business and strategic insights by applying innovative data management & analytics solutions to their challenges, and we use our data transformation skills to help clients optimise and automate their financial processes.

Your profile
As a student assistant, you will assist with digital transformation in finance, tax, and compliance by utilising data analytics, financial knowledge, and technology.

In that sense, we imagine that you:

• Have a basic understanding of finance, data analytics, technology and digital tools, including a willingness to learn new software and fundamental concepts of automation and data management
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills for handling financial data
• Demonstrate good communication and collaboration skills in a professional environment
• Are proactive, eager to learn and adapt
• Are fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Have experience with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Alteryx (preferred but not required).

You are in the final part of your bachelor’s in HA/BSc in Economics and Business, Economics or similar, or enrolled in a master’s in cand.polit., cand.merc., cand.oecon., or other similar fields within economics.

We expect you to work up to 15 hours per week, spread over 2-3 days, at our office in Hellerup or Aarhus.

Key responsibilities
Your tasks will vary and be assigned based on your interests and skills. However, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the team with financial analysis, reporting, and data entry
• Assisting in preparing presentations and reports for clients, summarising key findings, insights, and recommendations based on data analysis and financial modeling.
• Support the automation of routine financial and compliance processes, helping to streamline workflows and improve overall efficiency using digital tools.
• Supporting tax compliance tasks, such as gathering and reviewing documents
• Using Excel, Power BI, and Alteryx to analyse, and visualise financial data
• Exploring new opportunities within digital transformation, Power Platform, data analytics in finance and tax automation to enhance business operations and drive efficiency
• Assisting with stakeholder interactions to gather requirements, provide updates, support maintenance, and ensure the successful deployment and continuous improvement of solutions.
