Laboratory Technician for MS Characterisation

The position
As a laboratory technician, your primary responsibility will be to provide essential support to early-stage projects focusing on the characterization and quantification of peptides and proteins from our collaborators. The core analytical methods of the department revolve primarily around liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry (LC-MS). 

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Planning and performing sample analysis
• Conducting data analysis and ensuring data integrity
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of manual and automated workflows
• Developing and implementing new analytical methods with LC-MS. 
• You will work closely with the team to develop tailored analytical methods for new projects and contribute to the analysis of samples using pre-established methods.
• Utilizing robotics and IT systems, you will efficiently handle samples and track data

Qualifications
We are seeking candidates who fulfil the following prerequisites: 

• Educated as Laboratory technician
• Knowledge of general protein and peptides research laboratory techniques and workflows
• Practical experience in analyzing protein and peptide samples
• Flair for IT and laboratory instruments, with a willingness to learn and adapt
• Fluent in Danish and English - both verbally and in writing
• Experience with liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry (LC-MS) is an advantage

The MS Characterisation department, located in Måløv, Denmark, is part of Global Research Technology, Research and Early Development in Novo Nordisk.
