Lead Frontend Software Engineer

BiLLWERK+ is looking for a Lead Frontend Software Engineer who wants to work in a high growth international environment with a world class team.

BiLLWERK+ is a fast-growing company and having proven our ability to attract and retain customers we are now at the exciting phase of scaling up all aspects of the company as we look to expand into new product lines and enter new markets.

What part you will play?

• Take a lead role in the development and architecture of our frontend Single-Page Applications and SDK’s
• Help ensure a performant and high-quality codebase through continuous maintenance, refactoring, testing and attention to details
• Help identify and communicate frontend best practices
• · Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend developers to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and guidelines
  

Desired Skills and Experience

• Experience with Angular
• Experience with Node.js build systems
• Experience with source code repositories and team development processes (e.g. Git, Jira, Confluence or equivalent systems)
• Experience in developing Web SDKs
• Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
  

Technologies and Techniques we use

• Angular (newest version)
• REST APIs with Swagger specs
• Microservices - Java/Spring Boot backends
• AWS operational stack (various AWS services)
• Continuous integration and deliver

• Relevant technical degree
• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development
• Expert in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Strong proficiency in SPA frameworks such as Angular, Vue.js or React
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Cypress , Jest or Mocha
• Solid understanding of web performance optimization and cross-browser compatibility
• Knowledge of responsive design techniques
• Dedication to quality and passionate about creating polished user experiences and interactions
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment
• Proficient in English
