The Position
As Legal and Compliance Manager, you will be part of a team dedicated to drive the Danish affiliate’s compliance and business ethics focus and be a key stakeholder for the Clinical Development Centre Denmark (CDC DK) where you will be instrumental in driving legal and compliance support for clinical activities in the 7 countries being part of CDC DK.
As Legal and Compliance Manager for CDC DK, your main responsibilities will be:
• Support CDC Denmark priorities and manage all Legal and Compliance matters in CDC Denmark through strategic, pragmatic and proactive advice and support, advice, training and risk assessment, in compliance with Novo Nordisk policies and external laws and regulations
• Provide support in data privacy matters in CDC DK and NN DK
• Represent CDC Denmark in various external and internal Legal and Compliance forums and networks related to clinical trials and data privacy
This is a 12 month maternity cover position, with main workplace at our office in Copenhagen, Ørestaden, with the flexibility to work from home.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a candidate with a “can-do” approach and results-oriented attitude, which enables you to establish strong professional relations internally and externally.
You will be a keen and open-minded problem solver, who is goal oriented, with international mind-set and is aware of cultural differences. You will enjoy being part of a global work environment and present the following:
• Law Degree in your home country
• Admission to the applicable bar/law society in your home country is a plus
• At least five years of experience from a major law firm or in-house legal department.
• Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical and clinical trials regulation, experience with negotiation and drafting of trial agreements and investigator agreements.
• Good understanding of data privacy and the GDPR. Solid attention to detail combined with the capacity to multi-task and meet deadlines are needed.
• Experience with Business Ethics and Compliance, preferably from the pharmaceutical or medical device industry

As Legal & Compliance Manager you will be a part of the Legal, Compliance & Quality team consisting of seven people – the LCQ Director, two Compliance Managers, two Quality Managers and a LCQ Student Assistant, and you will report directly to the LCQ Director.
