As an Tandoori Chef specializing in Tandoor and pantry section, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of traditional dishes, with a focus on Tandoor-cooked items. You will also oversee the pantry section, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. Your creativity and passion for Indian cuisine will be key in delighting our guests and enhancing our menu offerings.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, with a focus on Tandoor items such as chicken Tikka, kebabs, and other tandoori dishes.
- Manage the pantry section, including inventory control, food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Tandoor cooking techniques
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Tandoori Chef, with a strong focus on Tandoor cooking and pantry management.
- In-depth knowledge of south asian(Pakistani) cuisine and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
