The positions are based at our office in Roskilde, Denmark where you will join our Technology Transformation PMO & Discovery team which is part of BEC’s Technology Transformation Program.
BEC is a large full-service IT house providing financial IT services towards member banks and financial institutions. The services and products cover most of the IT needs from a banking perspective ranging from IT operations of core systems, physical workstations and software.
The Technology Transformation Program aims at renewing a large portion of BEC’s current products where some of them are on an aging technology stack into updated and modern technologies.
The PMO & Discovery Team is responsible for supporting and following up on the progress of the Tech Transformation Program and are instrumental in ensuring the programs’ progression.
You will become an important contributor bringing your pro-active approach and technological background into play as you on the one side guide and support the program and the track leads in executing the transformation plans while also clearing the road for the program by forward looking activities enabling a more effective program predicting and utilizing technology trends and synergies applicable to the program.
The program is utilizing the full BEC, and as such we are flexible in regards to physical / remote work. One of the key priorities in the beginning is to connect and establish the professional network enabling an effective way of navigating the organization. This will require some physical presence and to some extend flexibilities. After the initial phase, we also have a hybrid remote model, coming into the office 3 days a week and working remotely for 2 days ensures some personal flexibility.

Primary task and responsibilities include:
Predict technological trends and synergies, and assessing whether these can be advantageously used in the transformation.
Anticipate possible risks and impediments and removing these to support the technology transformation tracks finding innovative solutions aligned with strategic business objectives
Perform analysis of technical problems working in partnership with architects, product managers, and developers to ensure the right scope supporting the transformation vision while providing business value
Develop decision material i.e. developing transformation investment cases for senior stakeholders in the organization (including senior leadership and Board of Directors)
Drive execution of projects with high IT complexity, successfully managing dependencies, risk and stakeholders
To succeed you will have:
Technical analytical mindset thriving in resolving complex problems
IT architectural experience, having contributed to design / architecture artefacts
+5 years of experience as technical (senior) project manager with best-in-class execution of project planning, dependency and risk management
Experience in finding innovative solutions aligned with strategic business objectives via your technical acumen and problem-solving mindset
Can contribute with communication excellence and can disseminate value from complex technical solutions to anyone from colleague peers to senior management.
As a person, you thrive in taking responsibility not only for your own deliverables but also ensuring continuous alignment across all levels of the organization.
You are open to change and can adapt to changing structures
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
It’s nice-to-have:
Experience from mainframe decoupling projects and API and/or event integration technology
It is an advantage to have experience from the fintech sector
Experience with cloud computing (Microsoft Azure, Databricks, etc.)
