The Position
In this role, you will lead a team of 17 service-oriented professionals, overseeing facility services such as building maintenance, canteen operations, security, cleaning, gowning, compliance, and temperature control within a GMP-regulated production environment.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping project goals and strategies for the largest site expansion since 1996, covering production, offices, canteens, and gowning areas. You'll drive environmental initiatives, including 100% renewable energy, water optimization, and waste reduction, in collaboration with the Circular Factory and EHS teams.
As a leader, you'll guide the Facility team as the site’s knowledge hub, engaging in global networks and contributing to projects, processes, and strategic decisions across the site. Your visibility and active involvement will be central to your success.
To thrive, you must be motivated by the challenge of leading and coaching the Facility team daily, helping them succeed in day-to-day tasks while executing long-term goals. You will also participate in global network groups, gaining inspiration and sharing expertise with other Novo Nordisk sites.
With you at the helm, the Facility team will become the site’s facility experts, playing a crucial role in projects, processes, business cases, and strategic decisions across the site.
Qualifications
To succeed in this position, you:
• Have a relevant educational background.
• Have 3+ years of proven leadership experience, combined with a leadership toolbox.
• Thrive on setting clear direction while developing your employees.
• Have a passion for and understanding of facility management.
• Are fluent in English and Danish, both written and verbal.
You possess excellent collaboration skills, with a strong focus on managing internal and external stakeholders to achieve solutions that meet requirements and address stakeholder interests. You are structured and autonomous, enabling you to be both flexible and reliable. Your dedication and professional approach, combined with a constructive, proactive mindset, make you thrive in a challenging, fast-paced environment with ambitious and dedicated colleagues.
About the Department
The Facility Team is part of Production Support at our AM Hi site, which is a part of our global production division, Product Supply, with nearly 14,000 employees worldwide. The department consists of 100 highly qualified employees from various professional backgrounds, all working to support production and implement Novo Nordisk strategies at AM Hi.
The site features a brand-new aseptic production facility alongside assembly and packaging lines and warehouses. Here, we produce diabetes and obesity products 24/7, which are continuously distributed to patients worldwide.
