About Coop Technology

During the past 5 years we have successfully upgraded most of our IT systems, with the aim to create a stable, secure, and future-proof IT platform for Coop. Most significantly we have completed one of the world’s largest and most ambitious SAP retail implementations, “Coop One” SAP S/4 HANA, and now we need to bring the solution to the next level.

 

We are looking to upgrade the HR solutions. You will be part of an IT organization dedicated to supporting and developing Coops newly established SAP Retail solution and the surrounding non-SAP applications.

 

Your New Team
You will lead a team of 7 highly skilled Solution Responsible Professionals and manage external consultants and subcontractors. The Technology department in Coop consists of 200 employees, and you will be part of the Technology leadership team, where you will have great opportunity for sparring and idea generation.

 

The HR Technology Service team is working in various areas such as solution architecture, HR master data, workforce management and SAP ABAP development. The team focuses on the operations and development of various HR systems, platforms and application technologies, such as SAP ECC HCM, PDC, AZETS Perspektiv, and SAP SuccessFactors. Furthermore, a vital focus area is to support HR processes across our business areas.

 

Reporting to our Director of CoE Technology Applications, you will have the opportunity to showcase your proven skills in HR Technology Services and Team leadership, helping us build the strong foundation needed for Coop to continue its digital transformation.

 

About the Role

As Manager for HR Technology Services, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful operations and development of our various HR applications in close collaboration with your team and our stakeholders. You will play a key role in leading the team and ensuring high solution standards.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Leading a team of IT experts responsible for applications related to HR.
  • Responsible for global subcontracts across full life cycle.
  • Responsible for maintenance, development, and projects within HR.
  • Drive stakeholder communication through strong communication skills.
  • Participate in leadership team for Coop business applications and SAP platforms.
  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate a strong work ethic, integrity, and a positive attitude. Prefers teamwork and sets high standards for yourself and your team.
  • Motivate and Inspire: Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment. Encourage open communication, recognize individual and team achievements and provide constructive feedback.
  • Develop Talent: Identify and nurture the strengths of each team member. Provide opportunities for professional growth and development through training, mentoring, and coaching.

 

Who are you?
You will have many stakeholders both internally and externally, so it is important that you are good at communicating and can navigate at all levels across the organization. We are an international team where you will meet employees, consultants, and suppliers who speak Danish and English. Company language is Danish.

 

We imagine that you have a relevant education within IT. Your work style is persistent, structured, and detail-oriented when the task requires it. You are action- and solution-oriented and have a rational approach to task-solving.

 

We would like you to cover many of below qualifications:

 

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within IT application maintenance and development, preferred within HR Services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience within cross organizational change management projects
  • Ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Experience with ITIL processes and applications, we use ServiceNow.
  • Experience with leading external consultants from international 3rd party delivery partners.
  • Have knowledge with ERP platforms from a large complex business.
  • Fluent in the Danish and English language.
  • Have a relevant academic degree.
