The Position
As a Manager in Material MSAT, you will head up a team of professionals responsible for improving and maintaining the material quality specification within raw materials.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

• Provide guidance and support to your team in their daily operations while driving process optimisation and standardisation 
• Set clear direction and establish priorities, being a present and visible leader
• Ensure we meet and support the growing demand of materials in Novo Nordisk
• Take ownership of your team’s performance and development, continuously tracking progress and fostering growth 
• Oversee planning and execution of activities, ensuring timely completion and full compliance with GMP regulations

Together with your team you will provide world class support to our production lines and stakeholders by securing high-quality materials to Novo Nordisk’s global supply chain, hereby helping millions of patients around the world.

The team is office-based and currently situated in Bagsværd. However, we will be relocating to Taastrup in January 2026.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we imagine you:

• Hold a master’s in natural sciences, manufacturing, production, or another relevant field
• Demonstrate relevant people leadership experience from a Support or QA team, ideally in a GMP production environment
• Possess a strong interest in people development, with the ability to create followship 
• Have a structured approach to your work, with an eye for optimization and simplification
• Display fluency in both spoken and written English

About the Department
You will join the RAW department within Material MSAT, Sourcing Operations in Product Supply. RAW is one of four departments in this area, alongside Analytical Development, Primary Packaging, and CMO Support, all part of the VP area of Material MSAT.

In RAW, we are responsible for the development, implementation, and management of complex materials (raw materials, excipients etc.) used in production and we maintain documentation on existing materials. We cooperate extensively with a broad variety of functions, including Chemistry Manufacturing and Control, QC laboratories, QA, inbound supply, warehouse, various Novo Nordisk production sites, and a range of external suppliers and contract manufactures.
The RAW department consists of five teams: Raw Material Supply Chains, Raw Material specifications (available position), Excipients, and Process aids & SUS and RAW Processes.
