The Position

This position involves a high degree of decision-making across a broad area of responsibility. As Manager, your main responsibilities will be to:
 

1. Lead key business processes within logistic, finance, and supply chain across the whole production facility, involving relevant stakeholders internally and externally timely, to secure smooth and robust planning and communication.
    
2. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and change management, exemplifying NN WAY behaviors and principles.
    
3. Set team goals, oversee performance evaluations, and manage recruitment, competencies, and training plans aligned with project schedules and organizational needs.
    
4. Support department managers and CVP in budgets, forecasting, and production planning to ensure efficient resource allocation, and strategic alignment across the organization.
    
5. Optimize supply chain processes for improved efficiency and business alignment.
    
6. Oversee distribution and logistics operations for timely and cost-effective product delivery, including managing relationships with logistics partners and improving performance metrics.
    
7. Define and implement supply chain and warehouse strategy aligned with NN standards, driving initiatives to enhance sustainability and resilience, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and commercial standards and maintaining high operational quality.

Furthermore, you will engage in close dialogue with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure collaboration and alignment on challenges. To succeed in this role, a high degree of independence, innovation, a quality mindset, and a desire to support API production are essential.

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you:

• Hold a Master’s degree or MBA in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or related areas.

• Have a strong financial or supply chain background.

• Have 3+ years of experience as a leader in previous roles.

• Are fluent in English; proficiency in Danish is a plus.

Experience with the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage, but not a requirement.

About the Department

You will join Purification Plant V (PPV) in Kalundborg, Denmark. We are a team of approximately 250 colleagues, working across several departments and teams to finalize the first process line, which will soon begin operations. We will produce future products for Novo Nordisk, playing a key role in Novo Nordisk’s social responsibility strategy. Our work supports the delivery of significant quantities to third-world countries. We are dedicated to delivering strong results that contribute to Novo Nordisk’s success by ensuring high-quality APIs at a competitive cost for our patients.
