The Position

As the Manager of the Operational Excellence Team in Development Drug Portfolio & Emerging Technologies (DPP& ET), you will lead a talented team of 13 professionals specializing in digital training, LEAN assessments, and strategy deployment. Your responsibilities will include driving the training and LEAN agenda within DPP & ET.

Your key responsibilities will include :

  • Motivating, leading, and setting directions for your team members.
  • Nurturing a psychologically safe environment where everyone helps and inspires each other to succeed, grow, and develop.
  • Building and maintaining strong collaborations with our stakeholders through network meetings and frequent alignment sessions.
  • Ensuring that all team activities are continuously aligned with business needs and our strategy.
  • Applying a continuous improvement mindset to optimize solutions to meet business needs.
  • DPP & ET is a manufacturing Senior Vice President area consisting of 3,000 employees in Denmark, USA, and Ireland. Some of your team members will work on strategic and tactical initiatives that support across all of DPP & ET, while others will have operational roles supporting various business areas within DPP& ET.

    Qualifications

    You will be a great leader if you have:

  • A relevant academic background and full professional proficiency in English.
  • Leadership skills that foster psychological safety within the team and develop your employees.
  • A well-developed strategic sense and problem-solving skills to help your team ensure strategy execution.
  • A proactive mindset to address challenges or risks in a timely manner.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to ensure smooth collaboration between your employees and their stakeholders.
  • 2 years of leadership experience
  • As a person, you have excellent analytical abilities and thrive on solving problems systematically. You are highly organized and proactive, always striving for top-notch quality.

    About the Department

    You will be part of the Sustainability & Operational Excellence (S&OE) department, consisting of three teams: Quality Management Systems (QMS) , Sustainability & Safety, and your team, Training & LEAN. You will be part of the S&OE management team.
