The Position

As our Manager for Raw Material Supply Management, you will be responsible for:

 

  • Leading a team of 15 dedicated Supply Managers and Quality Professionals within the RAW category.

  • Foster a climate of high well-being, people development and innovation within your team and across related organizational departments.

  • Building and optimizing Novo Nordisk supply chain for all Raw materials.

  • Engage and optimize supplier performance by structurally following up on supplier performance scorecards and business reviews.

  • Take part in driving and setting the direction for the category.

  • Collaborate closely with supply chain stakeholders from sourcing and planning teams to effectively deliver agreed projects to completion.

  • Think end-to-end and ensure strong collaboration with the purchase planning team and sourcing.

 

Besides leading the supply management team, you will also join a dedicated and ambitious management team, reporting to the Director of Inbound Supply Management. Your role will involve close collaboration with peers to drive the department's success and development.

 

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine you:

  • Hold a Master’s degree in business administration or engineering.

  • Possess proven experience as a people leader who builds trust, drives engagement, and ensures team well-being.

  • Have 5-10 years of supply chain experience.

  • APICS certification (CSCP, CPIM, or CLTD) is a plus.

  • Green Belt Six Sigma and/or project management certification is a plus.

  • Are fluent in English.

You are a skilled communicator and thrive in cooperating with a variety of stakeholders. Lastly, you have a high degree of independence and take initiative to challenge ways of doing things and drive innovative improvements.

 

About the Department

Inbound Supply Management is part of Sourcing Operations, which has the overall operational responsibility for the inbound supply chain of Novo Nordisk and consists of 550 employees. We use our differences to create novel ideas and high-quality solutions to ensure continuous improvement of the Sourcing Operations function globally. You will be working in the headquarters with an environment characterized by innovation, openness, and highly engaged colleagues who are dedicated to helping us change lives for the better for patients around the world.
