Manager of IT Operations - Infrastructure

Are you an experienced leader with a solid understanding of IT operations and a strong ability to manage a team in a complex IT environment? DLG is looking for a skilled Manager for our IT Operations who will play a key role in optimizing and securing our IT operations.

You will report to the Director of IT Operations and work closely with your three fellow leaders in IT Operations. You will be responsible for 10-12 IT specialists across Denmark and Germany. There will be a need to be onsite in rotation at our IT locations in Fredericia, Flensburg and Viby J to maintain close contact with your employees.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Management: Involves leading, motivating, and developing the team, ensuring they deliver strong daily operations and contribute to projects.
• Operational Oversight: Monitor and optimize IT operations in a complex environment with hosting providers, many servers distributed across data centers, and approximately 550 business locations in Denmark and Germany.
• Project Management: Participate in and support major projects, including a comprehensive IT security program, network modernization, and consolidation of infrastructure.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure high quality and stability in IT operations, including incident- change management, through effective leadership of your team.

Your Profile:

• Leadership Experience: Proven experience as a leader in IT operations or a similar role, with the ability to motivate, develop and manage an international team.
• Technical Knowledge: Solid experience with IT operations from a large-scale infrastructure. Experience with large IT projects and complex IT infrastructure is important.
• Analytical Approach: You have an analytical approach to problem-solving and the ability to navigate a complex IT environment.
• Communication: You are a strong communicator, both written and verbal, and can effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Language Skills: You are fluent in English and either Danish or German.
