Manager of Propulsion System Engineering

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Manager of Mechanical R&D and Application Engineering to lead our Propulsion System Engineering department in our Propeller business. You will play an important role in:
You will:

• Lead, manage, and develop the Propulsion System Engineering department in alignment with the overall SMDP strategy to achieve business objectives and serve as a key member of the Propeller Business management team.
• Inspire, motivate and empower specialists and create an innovative environment, and bring vision to life.
• Provide an attractive and efficient Propeller product portfolio to meet market demands.
• Conduct research and development activities to improve product quality and innovation.
• Manage order execution for newbuilding and retrofit businesses while ensuring product quality and timely contract delivery-
• Coordinate with various business areas within MDT to enhance operation and business development.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to drive order intake and revenue generation.

Additionally, it will be an advantage if you:

• Have management experience in an engineering environment, ideally within a large multinational company.
• Having an Engineering degree or a degree from a related field.
• Are able to work structured and disciplined.
• Are able to plan and prioritize tasks, both your own and those of your employees.

The Propulsion System Engineering department is a prime objective-oriented function that drives design, application and R&D solutions for the Propeller business at MAN-ES. This department functions under the overall responsibility of the Head of Propeller Business and is tasked with ensuring both short-term and long-term success for the Propeller as well as PrimeServ, a subsidiary of MAN-ES.
