ESA BIC Denmark is a trailblazing incubator, accelerating space commercialization by supporting ambitious entrepreneurs. Our mission is to help Danish startups realize the potential of space technology and tap into the rapidly growing commercial space industry. ESA BIC Denmark is a partnership between four Danish universities—Aalborg University (AAU), Aarhus University (AU), the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), and the University of Southern Denmark (SDU)—working collaboratively to support the next generation of space-related startups across Denmark.
The management of ESA BIC Denmark is headquartered at the DTU Space Commercialisation Centre in Lyngby, near Copenhagen. Here, you will join a dynamic and motivated team committed to helping Danish companies unlock value from the space frontier. ESA BIC Denmark is co-financed by the European Space Agency, the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science, the Danish Industry Foundation, and the collaborating universities.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and visionary manager to take on the role of Manager at ESA BIC Denmark. In this position, you will have a rare opportunity to steer the future of space commercialization in Denmark, guiding startups to leverage space technology and create disruptive products and services.
As ESA BIC Denmark Manager, you will be supported by a skilled team at the DTU Space Commercialisation Centre, assisting with administration, marketing, communications, events, business development, and data analysis. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with incubation hubs at AAU, AU, and SDU and with our colleagues at the European Space Agency.
Key Responsibilities
Note: This role does not involve personnel management. You will report directly to the DTU Space Commercialisation Centre Director, Sune Nordentoft Lauritsen.

Salary and Appointment Terms
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC), and you will be employed as either a Senior Officer or Senior Executive Officer, depending on qualifications.
This is a full-time position with a start date of January 1, 2025. The workplace is located at DTU Lyngby Campus.
