The position
As head of Vendor Alliances and Capability Building you will along with 6 dedicated employees, play an important role in building up our internal capability center focused on designing and implementing employee development initiatives to improve employee skills, knowledge and expertise. As head of our Vendor Alliance team you will take Supplier Relationship Management to the next level embedding it across our category teams while taking lead on developing our most strategic indirect vendors.
Key responsibilities in the role include:
You will collaborate with numerous stakeholders at various levels of the organization, both within Corporate Procurement and across Novo Nordisk.
You will be part of the Procurement Excellence Management team, reporting directly to the VP of Procurement Excellence, and contribute to set the overall strategic direction for this area.
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate holds a relevant educational degree minimum at Bachelor level in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Economics etc., and has minimum 10 years of relevant working experience, preferably within Capability Building and/or Vendor Relations Building, including 3 years in leadership.
Other success criteria are:
On a personal level, you have exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with ability to work with people at different levels in the organization and in an international context.
