Siemens Gamesa is seeking a structured and proactive Marine & Logistics Assistant to join their team at SGRE in the Port of Esbjerg. This role plays a crucial part in supporting the Marine & Logistics department and its managers, ensuring smooth daily operations, effective communication, and precise administrative support.
The key responsibilities in the position are:
Operational Coordination:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of storage, movement, and tracking of wind turbine components.
- Support Marine & Logistics Managers with daily tasks related to port operations and project requirements.
- Ensure efficient communication and collaboration with Port authorities and other stakeholders.
Administrative Support:
- Schedule and call meetings, prepare agendas, and take meeting minutes (MOM).
- Maintain records and documentation using internal systems such as SharePoint.
- Perform data entry and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage ECTP system tasks, ensuring system performance and proper usage by the team.
Process Support:
- Contribute to defining and aligning internal layout processes, including role definitions and responsibility outlines.
- Support managers in drafting, presenting, and implementing procedures.
You will work closely with the Marine & Logistics team to ensure alignment on all tasks, where you regularly report on logistics costs, compliance, and efficiency measures. You will also assist in creating proactive strategic plans for logistics challenges.
Your qualifications:
- Proven experience (2–5 years) in logistics, operations, or a related field, preferably with knowledge of port operations.
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to schedule, coordinate, and document processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP; experience with SharePoint is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Danish language skills are a plus.
- Ability to actively listen, understand requirements, and problem-solve effectively.
- Structured and detail-oriented with a sense of urgency and ownership.
