We are looking for proactive and organized Marine Storekeeper to join our team for onshore activities related to the FLC project. The Marine Storekeeper will be responsible for managing the logistics and warehousing of goods related to our marine operations and technical department. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and services essential for the successful execution of our construction project.
Who is FLC?
Femern Link Contractors, FLC, is the joint venture responsible for the design and construction of the Northern Europe’s biggest construction project resulting in the longest immersed tunnel in the world. Our joint venture consists of nine international construction companies with individual experience in large infrastructure projects. Together, we are committed to working together to deliver a state-of-the-art immersed tunnel, portals and ramps, delivered on time and safely, in a sustainable and ethical manner.
Main responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Act as main point of contact for arriving and departing goods and any intermediate (long-term) storage.
- During the entire project, you are member of the Marine workshop team and the appointed person for the daily receipt and processing of goods arriving at the construction site.
- Particularly focus on the identification and segregation of the various order flows to prioritize on the logistic flow of the technical department and marine workshop.
- Record the arrival, storage and dispatch of goods in the software system that is used to control the workflow.
- Plans the work ahead.
- Provides input to the Planned Maintenance procurement / Warehousing System
- Optimizes the occupation usage of the workshop and workshop team area and resources capabilities.
- Supports and coaches the workshop technicians.
- Organizes daily toolbox / start work meetings when required.
- Connects the tasks at hand to the bigger picture.
- Coordinates delivery and supply of repair and/or part service good, materials and services with involved departments
- Provides support and input on risk assessments for workshop specific, general tasks/site specific tasks.
- Identify and segregate logistic flows dedicated to the Technical Department.
- Offload and store new arrival items
- Register and administer storage locations
- Identify and raise any non-conformities
- Prepare goods for dispatch
- Supervises and supports the logistics onshore and offshore related to food supplies for the various marine equipment.
- Arranges incoming and outgoing logistics and reporting related to fresh water supply, sewage, bilges, shore power, etc.
- Ensures reporting for incoming and outgoing waste in accordance to FLC Waste Management Plan.
- Recording and logistics of transport for internal and external spare parts, consumables and equipment.
- Provides support to Marine Department with in-house services for submitting and reporting related to custom clearance related to all incoming and outgoing materials for the construction the project.
- Supports in monitoring and updating the work vessel planning and reporting of crew to authorities.
- Coordinating of FLC linesman, if required.
- Support in general logistics for crew changes.
- Coordinates and reports incoming and outgoing logistics related to bunkering of various fuel types.
- Tracking and completing purchase order status.
- Direct interface with suppliers or service providers
- Supports logistic flow of consumables and spare parts to vessels.

- Work in the FLC IT environmental aware of the applicable requirements involved in the logistic operations such as:
- Risk mitigation
- Material requirements.
- Personnel requirements.
- Work procedures.
- Permit systems.
Qualifications / Experience:
- Be in possession of a valid driver’s licence.
- Have experience with warehousing IT systems / administration.
- Be in a physical fit condition.
Conditions of employment:
- 55hr contract (4 week on – 2 week off rotation).
